Hello, world!
Guess who?
On June 3rd, I finally hit the 3 month mark...yup, that's right...93 days of ME!!!
It's been quite the takeover thus far...I mean, let's be real... do you even remember a time before I was here? I sure don't!
In just this short time, I've really shaken things up. What can I say...I'm an assertive fellow.
🔹️It took some work, but the household now runs on my sleep (or not) schedule which makes things muuuuuch less efficient and productive...just as planned
🔹️I'm pretty much the financial manager at this point, with a huge salary boost and some sweet benefits. Grocery purchases are waaay down and cute clothes and toys are way up. Just as it should be! Of course, I still have some kinks to work out....like the diaper-deficit...
🔹️It took a little longer than anticipated, but I finally got 'The Cat' to submit to my will. Okay, granted, it required a very specialized type of shrieking (which only happens when my nose is suctioned out...yep, allergies) to bring her to her knees...ah...belly...but win I did, and now she knows to ask my permission before trying to share Mami's lap with me!
🔹️Not sure that it qualifies as a real achievement, since it only took that one first glimpse of me, but I totally turned Papa into a softie! Oh, the adventures we have! Every night I get his exclusive chauffeur-detail and we chat about my day. Very exciting, I assure you! It's not until he starts telling me about his that I fall asleep from boredom.
🔹️Big Brother isn't looking soooo big these days, now that I'm starting to catch up! I've almost grown out of 3-6 month clothes already! Surely, I'll be up to his knee soon!
Well, my friends, speaking of growing...naptime beckons and I'm exhausted from everything I've accomplished so far.
