7 months of service...

 Hello World!

Coming at you live in (my) prime time,  from behind bars where I've been serving 7..err...ya know...my crib!

How are y'all handling life on the inside-outside these days?  Still rocking the social distancing?  Me too! In fact,  I haven't even MET any of my peers yet!  But, I did see a few of my peeps on a Baby Einstein DVD from the library and let me tell you...I was SO excited to hear the language of my tribe!  So much better than that senseless babble my staff keeps yammering at each other!  At least the guard-cat has been learning my lingo lately.  She always comes running when I call for her.

So does my Mami, ever since I perfected the call to arms of "MaMaMaMaMaaaaaa".  It makes her so happy!  I try to make sure to use it frequently,  just to let her know I care.  Oddly though, her smile is not nearly as ready when I call for her at 2a.m. as it is at 2p.m.  Thankfully,  no matter the hour, she's always ready to cuddle and nurse me.

My Papa has been working out a lot lately...heavyweight champion that he is! He's gotten much better at lifting my baby spoon and has increased his percentile of successful contact with my mouth considerably.  Sometimes I even swallow my puree, just to encourage him!  He really seems to like it when I get it in my hair...big reaction!

Speaking of hair,  have you seen my Big Bro's? It's literally my favorite thing to play with... since Mami won't let me rip hers out anymore. RUDE!  My big brother is so much more generous with his lovely locks! He says it's better than letting me at his Transformers, and I quite agree!

As you may recall, I began my upward ascent in earnest last month. I get a good workout in every day...stomping around the prison yard whenever Mami puts me in solitary.  I've gotten really good at the hundred inch dash...really shaved off some time... and can make it to MESS  before anyone notices I've snuck across the kitchen floor!

Duty (not doody, you silly peeps) calls...I'm off to stimulate the growth of gray on my Mami's head!

See ya on the flip side of the month...

~Henri
